If you would like to get involved with JA, but have no preference of classroom, or would like to volunteer outside of the classroom, please contact the JA of Montana officer here.

Kim Hattendorf

This 1st grade program will be for 5 weeks for 45 minutes per session. JA volunteers use a combination of pictures, stickers, and flashcards to engage students in activities about needs and wants, jobs, tools and skills, and interdependence while exploring their role within their family.  Mrs. Hattendorf would like to begin as soon as possible  Click here to see a summary of the first grade lessons.

This 1st grade program will be for 5 weeks for 45 minutes per session. This 1st grade program will be for 5 weeks for 45 minutes per session. Ryan Cech

Mr. Cech would like to start in mid-January.  This 3rd grade program, Our City is for 5 weeks with each session lasting 45 minutes. JA classroom volunteers help students build a city! The students construct paper buildings, map out a city, write newspaper articles, plan their own restaurants, and examine why banks are important.  Please click here to see an overview of the program.

Nikki Wiers

Mrs. Wiers would like to start as soon as possible. Junior Achievement’s fifth-grade program provides practical information about businesses’ need for individuals who can meet the demands of the job market, including high-growth, high-demand jobs. Megan Stageman

JA classroom volunteers help students build a city! The students construct paper buildings, map out a city, write newspaper articles, plan their own restaurants, and examine why banks are important. Kerri Cobb

Marketing I: The high school class is designed to give students a foundation of skills, attitudes, and habits necessary to succeed whether going on to higher education or directly into the working world.

The volunteer for this class will be using the JA Titan program which will be 7 weekly classes beginning the week of March 19, 2012 between 9:20 and 10:10 am.   Please click here to read an overview of the program.
