Please join us in listening to the Bozeman High School Kamerata Orchestra and Jazz Choir.  Together the Kamerata and Jazz Choir are the base groups for the Notes of Comfort program, a community outreach program serving hospice, elderly and suffering individuals and families.  The program is operated through the Bozeman Friends of Music, and donors normally offer $100 donation to the music program when a group provides notes of comfort to those in need.  It's a great way for the students to give to the community and a great way for the community to support the arts, the public school music program, and the educational traveling opportunities that Bozeman High's students experience.

Kamerata is an elite chamber orchestra made up of the top students in the top orchestra and top band.  These students meet during the zero hour at 7:30 every day at Bozeman High School, differentiating their instruction and selection of literature.  There are full chamber orchestra experiences as well as small chamber ensembles.

Jazz Choir is an elite vocal ensemble and rhythm section made up of the top students in the top choir and jazz band.  These students meet every day during the school day in addition to their other music class.  This class has also divided into smaller groups and solos for various events.

Junior Achievement of Montana is proud to partner with First Security Bank and Liberty Place to recognize these outstanding young musicians.  These musicians present the nest face of youth and social entrepreneurs, taking action to make a difference in those who are suffering.  Information on all the organizations will be available at the concert.  Please call 582-1828 for more information.
