My name is Shelley Laakso and I have been involved with JA for 6 years. I have taught many grade levels but my favorite is 2nd grade. The students learn voting, assembly line production vs unit production, and who pays taxes. These kids are so smart and insightful I learn something new from them everytime I enter the classroom. Courtney King-Leverett

Bozeman Board Chair

Courtney has been both a volunteer for the board as well as in the classroom for many years. She loves teaching children about the free enterprise system, workforce readiness and how the world operates. Courtney enjoys thinking of new ideas to champion the young entrepreneurs as well as enable them to continue to grow.

Heidi Knudson

Interim Board Chair

Heidi is the Business Development Officer at Altana Federal Credit Union. She was instrumental in getting the first after school programs going in Billings, and has been a key player in the implemetation of Biz Kid$ across Montana. Heidi is currently serving as the interim Billings Board Chair.
