Heide Arneson

Executive Director

Heide Arneson has been with JA of Montana for nine years.  Her degrees in math and physics, combined with volunteer work in local schools, taught her a great appreciation for hands on education.  After a career as a meteorologist with the United States Air Force, Texas Instruments, and American Airlines, Heide moved to Montana and began volunteering in schools and local youth programs such as Destination Imagination.  Since starting with JA in 1991, she has helped grow the program from 40 to a goal 140 classrooms this school year.
